The stories of ‘Vikram and the Vampire’ hold a unique place in the world of children’s literature. These stories have been translated into many languages of the world. Twenty-five stories of ‘Vikram and the Vampire’ originate in ‘Kathasaritsagar’, a collection of stories written in the early seventh century. They remain children’s favourite stories even today.
Some of the selected stories of ‘Vikram and the Vampire’ have been modified, revised and published as ‘Singhasan Battisi’. But, we have taken utmost care to make sure that none of these is repeated in either series.
